The Library is your digital media hub to quickly access previously saved compositions and images. You can customize the Library's repositories in the “Settings” of the Composition Builder application.
Name: Shows all the previously saved compositions and still images that are available in the defined repository. Double-click a composition to open it in a new Composition Builder window, or drag and drop a still image into an open composition, to add it.
Preview: Open the preview at the bottom of the Library with the open preview button, to preview previously saved compositions and still images. Use the transport control buttons to control the composition preview playback.
Search Field: Allows you to search for files in the Library.
Show/Hide Preview Area: Show/hide the preview area (default: “Hidden”).
Refresh Library: Refreshes the Library view.
After starting the Composition Builder application (part of the Just Playout bundle) for the first time make sure, that macOS has properly registered the application under “System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions”. This will grant that all Template Thumbnails will be shown while working in the Composition Builder 202x application.
