Version 2026 of the Just In Mac Pro capture solution for macOS is macOS Sequoia (15.7.x) and macOS Tahoe (26.x and higher) certified and fully qualified to run natively on the Apple silicon chipset architecture (M1-M5).

The combination of this highly efficient and powerful system architecture from Apple and our professional capture solution offers many advantages and benefits to both our customers and our future innovations.

Important: The Just In Mac Pro 2026 capture solution is optimized exclusively for Apple silicon hardware (M1-M5) to provide you with the best performance and experience!

By fully transitioning to the Apple silicon platform, we ensure optimal performance, stability, and compatibility with the latest advancements.

If you are planning to deploy Just In Mac Pro on qualified INTEL-based Macs (MacPro7,1 or Macmini8,1) please consider using version 6.5 or version 2025.1!

Nevertheless, we will, of course, continue to support our customers who still have certified Intel-based Macs running qualified versions of Just In Mac Pro.

Just In Mac Pro version 2026.1 introduces several highly requested features and performance enhancements designed to optimize your broadcast capture workflows.

Secure and More Reliable REST API

The REST API now supports secure HTTPS connections as well as HTTP, and HTTP/1.1 keep-alive handling has been improved for more reliable communication with automation, MAM/PAM, web, and custom systems.

A new Install Self-Signed Certificate (HTTPS) option simplifies local setup. When a valid certificate is installed, the REST server accepts HTTPS connections; without one, it continues to use HTTP.
